Are you a results-driven technical sales expert with a passion for precision engineering and cutting-edge manufacturing technology?

We are looking for a Machine Tool Technical Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team in the KZN region.
 

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a market leader that supplies high-quality CNC machines and machine tool solutions across various industries - from automotive to aerospace and general engineering.
 

A young, recently skilled/ trade trained individual, with a strong technical inclination, (Fitter / Fitter & Turner / Millwright / Electrician etc), but with a desire and passion to enter the world of Technical Sales (along with your natural Sales flair & ability), will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and grow new business opportunities in the entire KZN region.

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, offering technical support and tailored solutions.

• Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.

• Provide accurate quotations and negotiate terms of sale.

• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in CNC and machine tool systems.

• Collaborate with internal teams (technical, service, and support) to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in technical sales, ideally within the machine tool or CNC industry.

• Strong technical knowledge of CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and related systems.

• Proven sales track record and ability to close deals.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage a regional sales territory.

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within greater KZN.

• Relevant technical qualification (Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent) is an advantage.
